- Trump tweets pictures of a bollard fence and calls it the wall. The picture he posted was of a reconstruction project that was well under way before he even became President.
- Trump states that, "It may not look like it, but we are draining the swamp".
- Trump posts a meme on Facebook saying that says he's "Draining the Swamp" and "Securing the Border". Even taken in the present-tense context, none of this is currently happening at the time that he posted it. In fact, illegal crossing are at Obama-era levels, and even worse because he's not allowing for proper tracking of illegal crossings, and he's even filled his administration with swamp.
- Trump says he's draining the swamp, despite zero arrests two years into his presidency and, instead, filling the swamp: I’m draining the Swamp, and the Swamp is trying to fight back. Don’t worry, we will win!
- Trump stated, "We will do everything in our power to support and protect our fellow citizens in harm’s way," which apparently doesn't include cracking down on Antifa, securing the border, or deporting illegals (hell, he wants to give them amnesty).
